THERE IS A $25 LATE FEE PER HOUSEHOLD

(Late fees for 14-18 year-old players do not begin until April 11, 2010 to accomodate HS players.)

 


MANDATORY FUNDRAISING:

All players will be required to purchace an ATTRACTIONS Dining and Value Guide for $25 each. Each player can sell their book for $25 for reimbursement of this money. You ATTRACTIONS Dining and Value Guide will be mailed to you. For a list of savings inside your guide click here>>

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS:

This spring, for the eighth consecutive year, Stafford Baseball League, will award college scholarships to, up to six, graduating seniors who meet our selection criteria.  The Justin Whitaker Memorial Scholarship, in the amount of $500, will be awarded to each of the 6 recipients.  This is a competitive scholarship and multiple winners may be selected from one school. The following youth baseball clinics are not sponsored or associated with SBL. They are advertised here as a courtesy to our area high schools. SBL is not responsible or liable for these events.

 

BROOKE POINT HS PRESEASON CLINIC:

The BPHS Preseason Fundamentals Clinic will be Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 9am-1pm and is for players ages 7-13. Focus areas include hitting, catching, infield, outfield and pitching skills. STAFFORD HIGH SCHOOL CLINIC:

SHS will be hosting a youth baseball clininc on Saturday, April 10, 2009, at 12:00 P.M. This clinic is for players ages 7 to 13 years-old. The cost is $25 and includes a T-shirt. Following the clinic at 2:30 P.M. SHS will host their 7th Annual Hit-A-Thon fundraiser. The cost for this even is $15. COLONIAL FORGE HS CLINICS:

CFHS will be hosting a hitting clininc on Friday, March 12th and a pitcher/catcher clinic on Friday, March 19th. In addition the COLONIAL FORGE HS SUMMER CAMP is June 21 - 24, 2010. CURRENT FIELD STATUS:

During any inclement weather be sure to check the status of the fields prior to heading out the diamond by clicking the Operating Status link on the menu to the left of this page.

 


BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING:

Board of Directors meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month for the entire calendar year, at 7:00 P.M., at the Courthouse Community Center. The Board of Directors meetings are open to the public for observation but not participation. However, time is alloted for any member to address the Board for any comments or concerns.

 

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING:

General Membership Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month, from the first Thursday in September to the first Thursday of April, at 7:00 P.M., at the Courthouse Community Center. The General Membership meetings are open to the public for observation. Only SBL members in good standing, as defined in our by-laws, will have voting privelages.

 


HELP WANTED:

SBL is in need of help for our concession stands. These concessions stands generate much needed revenue for SBL which goes directly to advancing our programs, upgrading our equipment, coach's training and other events for the kids.
