Help Needed
SBL needs help running district tournaments. We have a variety of needs. If you can help please contact Robert Dreistadt at president@staffordbaseball.org.

NEW LIGHTNING POLICY:
Because of the recent tragic event that occurred in Spotsylvania County where two Little League players were struck by lightning, Stafford Baseball League (SBL) has researched the subject more thoroughly and reviewed our policy regarding lightning procedures. SBL annually reviews all rules and procedures to ensure the safety of our players. However, in light of recent events we felt it was appropriate to immediately institute a more stringent policy regarding lightning. Please click here for the new procedures>>

WATER REMOVAL:
It is important and greatly appreciated when coaches and parents come to the field after rain to prep the field to minimize the amount of time the field will be closed. However, this must be done properly. Improper water removal can actually cause a field to be closed longer than it normally would. Park and Recreation's standards of when a field is not playable with some water removal techniques can be downloaded by clicking here>>

Additional water removal tips can be read by clicking here>>
